Where will the training camp take place?

In Únětice near Prague, just 10 minutes from Prague Airport, on the indoor and heated Ubulodrom pitches right in the Únětice Brewery. Ubulodrom is 20 minutes by bus 355 from Dejvická metro station.

Regardless of the weather outside, the Ubulodrom is always pleasantly warm.

Who is the training camp for?

  • Players who are interested in taking a major step to improve their pétanque.
  • The camp is suitable for those interested regardless of level and training experience.
  • The basics of the methodology are common, but we will tailor it to each player.
  • The approach is also highly individual due to the presence of a sufficient number of coaches.
  • CIEP reserves the right to reject some potential candidates.

What makes the CIEP method unique?

CIEP is the only teaching centre approved by the International Federation of Pétanque F.I.P.J.P. Its methodology deals with correct technique, court behaviour, psychology and tactics. CIEP uses its experience in cooperation with federations (preparatory training sessions for the national teams of Malaysia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan and others), in individual training sessions for players (in Sergines, France, or Únětice) and in the training of F.I.P.J.P. certified coaches and trainers.

Is it true that you're going to videotape us at the training camp?

Yes, part of the camp is to film each player's technique at the beginning and end of the internship, with a subsequent analysis that will allow you to become aware of many small things that are important to improve your game. In addition, a comparison video with detailed commentary will be made available to each player approximately 3-4 weeks after the end of the camp and can be watched again at any time.

A detailed analysis of the technique, including commentary, will be available to you after the training camp.
How much does the training camp cost?

Four-day camp

450 EUR/person (11 000 CZK)

Gastro package for 4 days

120 EUR/person (3 000 CZK)

4 lunches including drinks, snacks on the playground during the day - fruit, coffee, tea, soft drinks

Gastro package is not compulsory for participants. Please consult with Petr Fuksa for payment details.

Accommodation

If you are interested in accommodation in Únětice (options are limited), please contact us (Petr Fuksa) in time. Accommodation is not included in the price of the internship. We will be happy to advise you about accommodation in Prague with easy connection to Únětice. Transportation by Uber from the centre costs about 250 - 350 CZK (10 - 14 EUR).

In which language will the camp take place?

Depending on the composition of the participants, the internship will take place in Czech, French, English or Spanish.

When do I have to register?

The training camp usually fills up very quickly. For the year 2024 we expect an increased interest from foreign players. Therefore, do not hesitate to apply, the number of places is limited.
